What is the duration of the internship program?
The internship program runs from May to August, while Co-Ops are available from May to December.
What are the academic requirements for the internship?
Applicants must have a high school diploma and be pursuing a BS or Master's degree in civil or construction engineering.
What type of mentorship will be provided during the internship?
Each intern will be assigned a leader/mentor in the materials engineering field who will assist with career planning and technical skill development.
Will I gain any hands-on experience during the internship?
Yes, interns will gain hands-on experience in site safety, sampling/testing, client interaction, and report preparation among other tasks.
Is there an opportunity to connect with other interns?
Yes, interns may participate in a cohort to connect with other interns across the company and learn about their experiences.
Will I have the chance to present to leadership at the end of the summer?
Yes, at the end of the summer, your cohort will present to the executive leadership team.

What skills will I learn during the internship?
Interns will learn about quality management systems, test procedures (ASTM, DOT, COE, etc.), and how to effectively communicate test results to clients.
