What is the duration of the internship?
The internship is for the spring of 2025.
Is previous experience in athletics required?
The preferred candidate will have previous experience working in an athletics environment and an understanding of the game of baseball.
What are the main responsibilities of the intern?
The intern will assist with day-to-day operations of the athletic department, act as a liaison between clients and staff, conduct research for marketing efforts, assist with sales outreach, and help with promotional content.
Do I need to have a degree to apply?
Candidates should have a two or four-year degree or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience. Current students in an accredited 4-year program with at least three years completed are also eligible if available for the duration of the internship.
What software skills are required for this position?
Proficiency in the MS Office Suite is required for this position.
Will the intern be required to work irregular hours?
Yes, the intern must be able to work irregular hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Is there a physical requirement for the intern?
Yes, the intern must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds and may be required to pull a tarp when necessary.
Is a valid driver’s license necessary for this internship?
Yes, possession of a valid driver’s license and an excellent driving record is required for this position.
