  • Pursuit of a degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, English or related field is preferred
  • Two completed years of undergraduate coursework preferred
  • COMMITMENT:
  • Preferred availability of approximately 20 hours a week during the school year, with more hours potentially available in the summer months if interested

Responsibilities

  • Assist in writing, creating, organizing, and distributing of internal weekly/monthly newsletters, articles, announcements, and other various types of content that support the organization and align with corporate communications strategy and brand standards
  • Brainstorm engaging content creation ideas and bring them to life
  • Seek out inspirational stories and positive customer experiences
  • Partner and collaborate with business areas to determine communication needs
  • Respond to and prioritize requests for content creation and distribution
  • Aid in reviewing and copyediting content to ensure accuracy, consistency, and brand standards
  • Utilize and help to maintain the corporate communications content planner
  • Assist in updating the company intranet
  • Work on special projects as needed
