Requirements

  • Current college/university student who has completed Sophomore or Junior year by June 2025 OR current graduate student
  • Must be at least 18 years of age by the start of employment
  • Must be available mid-June 2025 through mid-August 2025
  • Able to work during Padres home games and other special events as needed, which may include weekends and evenings
  • Minimum physical requirements: able to travel to and gain access to various areas of the ballpark for prolonged periods of time during games and events; able to lift and transport up to 25 pounds
  • As a condition of employment, you must successfully complete all post-offer, pre-employment requirements, including but not limited to a background check

Responsibilities

  • Exemplifying our Padres Core Values/Mission Statement: Communication and Collaboration, Progress and Innovation, Accountability and Integrity, and Effort and Results, through building meaningful connections with a diverse fan base and serving as impactful leaders in the San Diego community
  • Shadow the Corporate Partnerships and train in a variety of tasks
  • Assist in the day-to-day fulfillment and activation of Padres corporate partnership asset execution
  • Support the recap and ROI measurement process of Padres corporate partnerships
  • Assist in the research and proposal presentation of potential new business prospects
  • Support the Corporate Partnership team hosting and entertaining current and prospective corporate partners
  • Other duties and projects as assigned

Mission & Purpose

The San Diego Padres are a Major League Baseball club, established in 1969. The Padres compete in the National League Western Division, playing home games at Petco Park, which opened in downtown San Diego in 2004. In its history, the club has won four division titles and two National League pennants, advancing to the World Series in 1984 and 1998. The Padres organization is committed to winning on the field, creating an exceptional fan experience at the ballpark and making a positive impact in the San Diego community.
