Responsibilities

  • Participate in the monthly accounting process
  • Extract current data on sales, costs, inventory, etc.
  • Record new contracts in our backlog
  • Prepare financial analyses related to programs
  • Support the preparation of monthly financial statements for Bombardier Defense
  • Analyze results and provide comments on variances
  • Support the accounting of Defense aircraft orders and sales
  • Prepare balance sheet account reconciliations
  • Prepare cost reports by department
  • Apply cash inflows related to payments received
  • Prepare and analyze various management reports
  • Work jointly with the Defense Programs team
  • Verify internal controls and ensure our compliance with the requirements of various auditors (EY, OSC, CASRA)
  • Numerous special mandates.
