The main responsibilities include conducting field and laboratory testing of concrete, soil, asphalt, and aggregates, performing sampling or testing as directed, assisting field and laboratory personnel, transporting equipment and specimens, cleaning equipment and work areas, and progressively taking on more training and responsibilities.
What educational background is required for this internship?
A high school diploma is required, along with being in progress towards a BS degree in a science or related field such as environmental studies, safety, engineering, chemistry, biology, or geology. Ideally, candidates should have less than one year remaining to complete their BS degree.
