What are the primary responsibilities of this internship position?
The primary responsibilities include conducting field and laboratory testing of concrete, soil, asphalt, and aggregates, performing sampling or testing as directed, assisting other field and laboratory personnel, transporting equipment and specimens, cleaning equipment and work areas, and progressively increasing training and responsibility in work assignments.
What educational requirements are needed for this internship?
A high school diploma is required along with a Bachelor of Science degree in progress in a science or related field (such as environmental, safety, engineering, chemistry, biology, or geology). The ideal candidate should have less than one year remaining to complete their degree.
Is prior experience required for this internship?
No prior experience is required; however, candidates with relevant academic backgrounds or exposure to similar fields may be preferred.
