Responsibilities

  • Inventory Management - Aid in conducting weekly and monthly inventories of fiber. This will involve tracking and recording inventory levels, identifying possible discrepancies, and working with fiber team members, operations team members, and suppliers to insure adequate inventory levels
  • Forest Sustainability - Participate in mill visits and logging site visits to audit sustainability practices and compliance. Gather information on sourcing practices and sustainability initiatives to support our company’s commitment to responsible sourcing
  • Supplier Relationship Management – Relay information between our teams and suppliers, including order details, delivery schedules, quality requirements, etc. They will play a key role in building and maintaining relationships with suppliers to ensure smooth communication and collaboration
  • Documentation and Reporting – Support the team in maintaining accurate records, preparing reports on inventory levels, supplier performance, and sustainability audits. They will also assist in compiling data and generating insights to inform decision making and strategy development
  • Be a proactive safety leader, creating a “Safety First” culture
  • Assist in weekly/monthly fiber inventory counts
  • Perform tract audits
  • Help in communication with fiber suppliers
  • Manage the execution of the fiber plan
  • Assist in the development of fiber plan and budget
  • Management of 3LOG/LIMS sources and contracts, including settlement of load disputes and reconciliation of fiber receipts
