Responsibilities

  • Develop and Automate Innovation Performance Scorecard
  • Assess and map data sources for innovation performance tracking (ie Tableau, Nielsen, etc.)
  • Develop scorecard (excel or smartsheet) that brings all key data sources together into one dashboard that is updated automatically, by period, by banner for 2024 FY and 2025 YTD
  • Develop documentation and best practices for setting up future years and maintaining automation
  • Prepare Innovation R&D Product Briefs and Concept Boards
  • Prepare and lead any new R&D product briefs for 2026+ (examples 2026 PASO, 2027 new platforms), working with Innovation Manager
  • Creatively write innovation concept boards, leveraging AI and other design tools, for consumer testing (concept testing and/or sensory testing) for 2026+ customer sell-in
  • Includes writing and briefing an agency on any creative requirements for package renders to compliment the written concept board
  • Adhere to required timelines developed by the Insights team
  • Develop Big Bet Innovation Sales Kits for 2026 Customer Sell-in
  • Prepare innovation sales kit briefs by Brand/Portfolio, working cross-functionally with Innovation and Brand, for each Hot and Cold Big Bet Innovation
  • Lead and brief agency for development (creative and structure) of innovation sales kits within proposed budget and timeline
  • Concept sign off by Innovation/Brand end of April (before intern departs)
  • Deliver actionable next steps, with timing, for Innovation team to finalize for distribution in August
  • 2026 Big Bet Innovations examples, but not limited to Clamato Non Alc Caesar, McCafé Refreshers, Atypique Mimosa, Lavazza & Kicking Horse new blends, TODS 1 step lattes, & VH Refreshers
