Responsibilities

  • Financial Analysis: Compile and analyze historical financial data and financial statements provided by buyers and/or sellers. Assess the quality of reported earnings, net assets, and cash flows, highlighting significant trends and overly aggressive accounting policies.
  • Due Diligence: Identify key risks and potential deal breakers, assess business strengths and weaknesses, and evaluate potential transactions in the context of client investment strategies. Understand customer and vendor trends and other key transaction risk considerations.
  • Cash Flow and Working Capital Analysis: Analyze the cash flow impact of capital expenditures and working capital trends and changes.
  • Reporting and Presentations: Assist in creating tailored transaction advisory reports and presentations, addressing significant transaction considerations and issues.
  • Client Interaction: Participate in meetings and conference calls with Aprio's client service team and executive management of clients. Support discussions with target management and provide negotiating points for valuation and sale/purchase agreements.
