The internship lasts for 10 to 12 weeks, beginning in Summer 2025.

This position is hybrid and will be located in Richmond, Virginia.
What qualifications do I need to apply for this internship?
You need to be pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering (Computer, Systems, Electrical), Computer/Management Information Systems, or Math.
What types of assignments will interns work on?
Interns will be assigned to teams in core IT processes such as Application Development, Client/Server, Programming Languages, Web Development, System Integration, Data Science, and/or project management.
Is there an opportunity for full-time employment after the internship?
Yes, successful interns who are rising seniors may interview and apply for a position in the full-time IT Development Program (ITDP) at the end of the summer.
What skills are considered beneficial for this internship?
Nice to have skills include a minimum GPA of 3.2 on a 4.0 scale, understanding of business concepts/strategy, and multiple programming language skills.
What will interns gain from participating in the program?
Interns will gain valuable experience, build a strong network of peers and mentors, and attend technical and professional development classes.
Are there community service opportunities during the internship?
Yes, interns will participate in sponsored community service events.
