Responsibilities

  • - Assists with the design of system workflow in conjunction with clinical and business partners; workflows will focus on improved efficiencies, as well as incorporating quality initiatives.
  • - Provides support and offers input as needed. Escalates issues appropriately.
  • - Participates in change management activities to support successful system deployments and enhancements.
  • - Assists other team members in ensuring good documentation standards; including the creation of functional design specifications.
  • - Assists in the development of policies and procedures in collaboration with clinicians, business personnel, other team members, and IT manager.
  • - Assists with the development and maintenance of system documentation.
  • - Troubleshoots issues with vendor assistance, to resolution.
  • - Supports/troubleshoots Hospital Information Systems inbound/outbound interfaces as appropriate.
  • - Creates reports as needed and works problem tickets using ServiceNow or through the process designated.
  • - Works with other application analysts to insure system integrations.
  • - Utilizes and maintains appropriate change control procedures and standards.
  • - Prepares detailed flowcharts/diagrams to assist with design decisions and problem analysis.
  • - Performs other duties as assigned.
  • - Complies with all policies and standards.
