What is the duration of the internship?
The internship duration is from August/September 2025 to December 2025.
Can undergraduate students apply for this position?
No, this position is only open to second-year and third-year law students.
What are the required qualifications for applicants?
Applicants must be enrolled at least half-time in an accredited law school, have completed one year of law school by the start of the internship, be in excellent academic standing, and possess strong writing, research, and analytical skills.
Is the internship paid?
The internship is unpaid; however, academic or work-study credit may be available depending on school requirements, and a transit subsidy is offered.
What materials are needed for the application?
The application package should include a cover letter, resume, a writing sample (no more than ten pages, primarily legal analysis), and a law school transcript (official or unofficial).

Are there any citizenship requirements for applicants?

How many assignments can interns expect to complete?
Interns can expect to complete five to six substantive assignments during their internship.
Will interns have the opportunity to attend court appearances?
Yes, interns are encouraged to attend moot courts, local depositions, and court appearances whenever possible.
