What are some of the responsibilities of the Manufacturing Engineering Intern?
Responsibilities include assisting with functional testing, operating test equipment, troubleshooting system-level tests, assembling sub-assemblies, and improving manufacturing processes, among others.
What qualifications are required for this internship?
Candidates must be pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or an interdisciplinary engineering degree such as Biomedical, Industrial, or Robotics Engineering, with at least 1 year of experience using CAD 3D modeling.
Are there any preferred qualifications for this role?
Preferred qualifications include hands-on electromechanical project experience, willingness to learn LEAN manufacturing concepts, excellent communication skills, and proficiency with MS Office.
What are the physical requirements for the Manufacturing Engineering Internship?
Candidates must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs. unassisted and frequently bend, stoop, twist, climb, crouch, kneel, sit, and stand for long periods of time.
