  • Must be enrolled in a post-secondary program that requires a placement Education and/or relevant experience;
  • Exceptional ability to multi-task and prioritize on-going projects;
  • Knowledge of today’s top social media outlets and general understanding of digital audio/video streaming platforms
  • Ability to problem solve and react in time-sensitive situations;
  • Proactive approach to work, constantly seeking improvement in all areas
  • Proficient in MS Office (i.e. Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, etc.)
  • Ability to work independently and in a team
  • Strong organizational skills

  • The UMC team works four days a week from our creative campus located in Liberty Village, Toronto and one day to work virtually. Are you able to commit to this work schedule?

Responsibilities

  • Administrative support for the entire team such as vendor payments, product set-up, artist travel and more
  • Support across artist activations for Hip-Hop, R&B, and Pop genre roster
  • Processing vendor invoices for various accounts to ensure timely payment (Facebook, SnapChat, TikTok and more)
  • Solicit updates from marketing team on weekly/monthly basis for various reports as well as documenting meeting minutes when required
  • Reconciliation of department credit card to ensure timely payment
  • Assist in executing all aspects of the department’s day to day initiatives
  • Update and manage tour calendar on a weekly basis
  • Interpret and consolidate sales data from reporting systems
  • Assist at various marketing/promo events which can occur outside of regular work hours
  • Be a part of conversations for all INTL and Domestic artists within the Hip-Hop, R&B, and Pop genre roster
  • Other duties as assigned
