Requirements
- Degree: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., Accounting, Data Analytics, Economics, Finance, Management, Applied Math, Mathematics, and Statistics)
- Visa Status: All applicants applying for U.S. job openings need authorization to work in the United States for Protiviti without sponsorship now or in the future
- Graduation Status: Must be within one year of final graduation at time of internship
- Technical Skills Desired of an entry-level Risk and Compliance Consultant:
- Advanced verbal and written communication skills, including documentation of findings and recommendations
- Ability to apply critical thinking skills and innovation to client engagements across various industries
- A foundation of core business processes
- Interest related to banking, insurance, and asset management
- Experience in tools such as Microsoft Office (particularly Project, Access, Excel and PowerPoint), Power BI, and Tableau

Consultants will work within internal control frameworks, risk frameworks and regulator, compliance methodologies. Throughout Risk & Compliance projects, interns will help develop key deliverables, including process flows, work programs, reports and control summaries. As a Risk and Compliance intern, you review transactions to provide process improvement recommendations. Risk and Compliance interns will work within a variety of segments including but not limited to financial crime and anti-money laundering, risk management, credit services, regulatory compliance and consumer protection, transformation and fraud analytics.
