What is the main purpose of the Online Sales Photographer Volunteer role?
The main purpose of this role is to take high-quality photographs of items being sold online to help the charity raise funds for heart and circulatory disease research.
Do I need to be a professional photographer to apply?
No, you don’t need to be a pro. Novice photographers are welcome, and you will receive support and training to help you capture the right shots.
What types of items will I be photographing?
You will be photographing a wide range of items including clothing, homeware, books, vintage items, collectables, toys, and more.
Are there any age restrictions for volunteering in this role?
Yes, we are unable to accept volunteers aged under 16.
Is this volunteering position paid?
No, this is an unpaid voluntary position.
Are there any benefits to volunteering with the British Heart Foundation?

What should I do if I have a criminal conviction?
We are unable to accept volunteers with unspent criminal convictions.
How many hours do I need to commit to this role?
The role is flexible; you can volunteer for a few hours a week or just a couple of hours occasionally.

Yes, you will receive training and support to help you succeed in this volunteering position.
How will my photos be used?
Your photos will be used to showcase items for sale on our online platform, helping to attract buyers and generate funds for the charity.
