  • We are looking for a candidate who is enthusiastic and ambitious about corporate law with and ideally with some previous paralegal experience, especially in corporate.

Responsibilities

  • You will have the opportunity to gain excellent exposure to high quality work, working closely alongside the local team as well as the national team of 120 legal advisors
  • Your main responsibilities will primarily involve assisting on a wide range of complex and high profile corporate transactions and will include but not be limited to:
  • conducting due diligence;
  • drafting and negotiating documents and reports;
  • reviewing and collating documentation;
  • communicating effectively and confidently with national and international clients, external solicitors and other third parties (both in writing and by telephone);
  • acting as a co-ordinator between other departments within Shoosmiths; and
  • assisting legal advisors in the department with various corporate law matters and administrative tasks.
