What are the primary objectives of the Pharmacy Intern Year position?
The primary objectives are to learn to provide the best patient experience by assisting the pharmacist and pharmacy team members, using pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information, modeling and delivering customer service, and understanding pharmacy policies and procedures for future practice as a pharmacist.
What key responsibilities will I have as a Pharmacy Intern?
You will engage customers, assist in pharmacy operations under supervision, support patient care services, manage inventory, handle cash transactions, and ensure compliance with company policies.
Is prior experience necessary for this position?
While not required, it is preferred to have six months of experience in a retail environment and prior work experience with Walgreens.
