Responsibilities

  • Hands-on immersion to a product life cycle including assortment planning, replenishment forecasting, in season product management, and product hindsight analysis.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, production, and merchandising and build an understanding of how teams work together to achieve goals.
  • Conduct internal sales and inventory analysis making investment and markdown recommendations to Planning and Merchant teams.
  • Identify trends through data analysis, reporting, and competitive landscaping.
  • Take part in Guideshop walkthroughs and compile key takeaways for the planning team.
  • Maintain planning reporting/recaps.
  • Learn how to manage inventory and turn targets through receipt planning and markdowns.
  • Work with Director, Account Executive and Wholesale Ops team to learn the sell in and sell thru cycle for retail partners.
  • Create visual assortments by retailer, by season, using NuOrder.
  • Add visual images to weekly ATS reports to share with specialty stores.
  • Utilize on order reports from NetSuite and make sure that fashion item dates are called out on the internal photography tracking lists.
  • Use open order reports and make sure UPC’s have been loaded into GXS (through Civa).
  • Help organize sample closets to accommodate future seasons.
  • Review Design boards on Miro and create folders of images by category, for the upcoming August and September Summer 2026 market for Retail (Nordstrom, VonMaur, StitchFix & Nordstrom).
  • Order samples of core product to prepare for Summer 2026 market retailer presentations in August and September.
  • Sit in on line previews with design, merchandising and sales, to experience new collection releases.
