Requirements

  • We are looking for someone with excellent written and spoken communication skills who is an active listener, effectively conveys information; and can proofread and edit content and presentation materials.
  • We’re looking for a person who can plan and organize while able to balance strong attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines.
  • We’d like you to be highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and social media platforms, e.g., Twitter, Facebook, Tumblr, Instagram, Pinterest, Snapchat, TikTok.
  • You’ll have the chance to show leadership in peer relations while showing keen interpersonal skills when partnering with others.

  • Full-time undergraduates (Sophomore, Junior or Senior) at an accredited university in classes leading to a degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism or related discipline.
  • Good academic standing.
  • Ability to work at least 20 hours per week.
  • Willingness and desire to learn, grow, and explore in your role as an intern.
  • Work Experience:
  • Related job experience in the media or sales industry.
  • Campus and/or extracurricular involvement with audio, music, broadcasting, marketing, business, or similar fields.

Responsibilities

  • Content Research: Researching guest backgrounds, topics for episodes, and helping to craft questions for interviews
  • Audio edits: Creating assembly edits from raw audio based on notes, assisting in cleaning and mixing episodes, and creating short-form content for social media
  • Quality Assurance: Listening to completed episodes to review audio content for errors
  • Publishing: Assistance in crafting show titles and descriptions and scheduling episodes for publish
  • Studio Engineering: Assisting in the recording of episodes in studio with talent
  • Qualifications:
