Candidates must possess an interest in news, communications, and press relations, skills in Cision and social media, a collaborative and resourceful attitude, familiarity with television and public media, a passion for learning and curiosity, and proficiency in Microsoft Suite.

Support PR and Communications efforts by drafting reports, monitoring media coverage, updating contact lists, assisting with PR campaigns, managing press releases, coordinating event check-ins, and maintaining government contacts for PBS SoCal.
