Responsibilities

  • Must follow Ahlstrom's manufacturing and hygiene processes, procedures and policies, as applicable to the position's area of responsibility, in order to meet and maintain the safety, quality, and regulatory compliance requirements for each grade of paper.
  • Review, develop and implement preventative and predictive maintenance processes to reduce unplanned downtime and increase overall asset efficiency
  • Work with plant teams and maintenance personnel in identifying and planning daily, weekly and shutdown work
  • Assist with multiple capital and maintenance projects
  • Initiate and facilitate continuous improvement projects within the maintenance area
  • Investigate maintenance needs as required to support operations
  • Support maintenance craftsmen with their day to day tasks
  • Work with Suppliers ordering equipment and parts
  • Document equipment specifications and history
  • Provide maintenance coverage for start-ups from outages
  • Assist craftsmen in performing repairs when necessary
