Responsibilities

  • Conduct research related to global macro trends (economy, international relations, sociology, etc.) through interdisciplinary lens, using open-source research methods to draw an understanding of where things are going.
  • Conduct social impacts research: track relevant development and trends, compile regular briefings and analysis based on published works such as industry reports, academic articles and media opinions, and contribute to a nuanced understanding of technologies' impacts on society and humanity. Research is expected to be conducted through an interdisciplinary approach, including but not limited to macroeconomics, history, international governance, sociology.
  • Participate seminars, workshops, conferences and other relevant events, facilitate and participate dialogues with industry experts, and provide synopsis and analysis of how new information fits into company needs and future outcomes.
  • Complete other ad hoc tasks assigned in a timely manner, including writing, researching, editing, and reviewing.
