  • - Working towards, or having completed, a BS or MS in Biology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Genetics, or related field. Preferably junior or senior standing at an accredited university. Recent graduates are also encouraged to apply.
  • - Basic laboratory skills, preferably nucleic acid purification, microbial culturing and plating, basic microscopy etc.
  • - Knowledge of Microsoft Office products.

Responsibilities

  • Independently conduct scientific experiments for product development, performance troubleshooting, and protocol optimization.
  • Perform microbial cell culturing, basic microscopy, nucleic acid purification, and other experiments as assigned.
  • Assist with data collection and data interpretation.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed project documentation.
  • Review, summarize and apply relevant literature and technical documentation as needed.
