When does the Service Technician Traineeship Programme start?

Where will the training be held?
Training will be hosted at dedicated facilities in Heathrow and/or Manchester.
What are the qualification requirements for applicants?
Applicants should have demonstrable mechanical, electrical, or engineering-based experience. A recognized certification in automotive, aviation, or marine is preferred but not required. They must also hold a Full UK or EU Driving Licence for at least 1 year by the start date.
Is prior experience in the automotive field necessary?
While prior experience in the automotive field is beneficial, the programme focuses on potential rather than solely academic achievement.
What skills or qualities are required to succeed in this traineeship?
Successful candidates should possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, a 'safety first' attitude, strong multi-tasking and problem-solving abilities, and a willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
Will trainees have the opportunity for further career development after the programme?
Yes, upon completion of the traineeship, trainees will have the opportunity to apply for available full-time Tesla Service Technician roles based on their strengths and aspirations.
How will the recruitment process work?
The recruitment process consists of two stages: a short telephone screening call with a Tesla Recruiter followed by an in-person group assessment session at select locations.
Are trainees required to travel during the programme?
Yes, trainees should be willing to travel to different Tesla office locations or events when required.
Is there a requirement regarding full-time education status prior to starting the programme?
Yes, applicants should not be in full-time education when the programme starts.
What kind of training will be provided during the programme?
Trainees will receive hands-on training covering various technical modules such as Chassis, Body, Electrical, Infotainment, and more, along with opportunities to experience other key Tesla functions.
