What are the typical activities for Till and Customer Service volunteers?
The typical activities include using the shop till to process transactions, promoting Gift Aid, helping and advising customers, and undertaking general activities within the shop.
Do I need prior experience to volunteer?
No, previous experience is not required. Full training will be provided before you start.
How flexible is the volunteering schedule?
The volunteering schedule is quite flexible. You can volunteer for a few hours during the week or weekend, as agreed with the shop manager. There is no fixed commitment, but we do ask that you agree on hours you can confidently attend.
Are there age restrictions for volunteering?
Yes, some locations may not be able to host volunteers aged 15-17. However, if you are in this age group, please get in touch so we can help find a suitable opportunity for you.
