What is the purpose of the Social Media Champion role?
The Social Media Champion role aims to help promote the key messages of Barnardo's neurodivergent voice council, support local health services, and keep the community informed about available services while engaging with young people who identify as neurodivergent.
What qualifications or experience are required for this role?
We are looking for a volunteer with experience in web design, good IT skills, and knowledge of various social media platforms. A personal interest in neurodiversity and lived experience of neurodiversity is particularly welcome.
What specific tasks will I be responsible for in this role?
You will be responsible for posting relevant content on social media platforms, sharing posts from other organizations, monitoring social media engagement, and reporting insights to the team, while adhering to Barnardo's policies and procedures.
What support will I receive as a volunteer?
You will receive a full induction and training, regular supervision and support, and opportunities for additional relevant training.
