Responsibilities

  • Support the Social Team for multiple assigned accounts - offering fresh thinking and informed perspective for a creative, innovative approach to the work.
  • Help with the scheduling and execution of social media campaigns and content calendars, either through the native platform or Sprout.
  • Mine for user-generated content relevant to and appropriate for our brands and request permission for use. Brainstorm creative ways to utilize UGC.
  • Draft concise, brand voice social media copy. Understand the nuances of writing for different social media platforms and adapt the language and tone to suit the platform and target audience.
  • Generate cross-platform engagement between accounts; identify additional opportunities for our brands to join relevant social conversations.
  • Build brand affinity and engage directly with the communities of brands across key social channels.
  • Partner with the wider social media teams (across account, strategy, creative and media) to ensure that creative content is suited for the channel it is being posted to, adheres to best practices and paid/promotional requirements, and has been through a QA process.
  • Assist the Social Media Strategist with monthly reporting and analytics.
  • Identify and help to execute on real-time trends that translate to social media opportunities on behalf of the agency and our clients.
  • Identify popular hashtags, emerging discussions, and viral content to incorporate into the social media strategy, enhancing the brand's relevance and visibility.
