Description
- Responsibilities include creating engaging content, monitoring trends, collaborating on campaigns, conducting research and analyzing metrics. No extensive work experience is required, but dedication to learning and a passion for emerging technologies is vital. Work closely with mentors and supervisors to explore various technology disciplines and build meaningful connections within the company.
Requirements
- Must be a Junior or Senior in an undergrad program
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing or concentration in a communications field
- Unfortunately, we are unable to provide visa sponsorship or transfers for this position

Responsibilities
- Create engaging content for ASRC Federal's social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram).
- Monitor social media channels for trends, news, and relevant discussions.
- Collaborate with marketing teams on social media campaigns promoting ASRC Federal's brand and initiatives.
- Conduct research on social media marketing best practices and provide optimization recommendations.
- Track and analyze social media metrics to measure campaign effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
- Support planning and execution of virtual events, including live social media coverage (LinkedIn Lives, Instagram Reels).
- Stay updated on industry trends and social media platform changes, sharing insights with the team.
- Enrolled in a bachelor's or master's degree program in marketing, communications, or related field.
- Possess strong written and verbal communication skills with a focus on detail and creativity.
- Familiarity with major social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram) required.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote team environment.
- Prior experience with social media/workflow management tools (e.g., Monday.com, Hootsuite, Buffer) preferred.
- Passion for digital marketing and social media, eager to learn and grow in the field.
- Commit to at least 15-20 hours per week, Monday through Thursday, for the internship.
- Remote position, but candidates must be located near the DMV area for mandatory in-person events during the internship.
- Pursuing a degree in marketing, communications, or related field, with working knowledge in social media, communications, and graphic design.
- Proactively addresses roadblocks, approaches problem-solving from multiple angles, and thrives in a collaborative team environment.
