Requirements

  • You’re currently enrolled in an accredited college/university and able to commute to our office during your internship.
  • You’re cooperative and like to lend a helping hand to others. We have a collaborative culture here at HCSS where teamwork makes the dream work!
  • You’re detail-oriented, a problem solver, and a logical thinker.
  • Currently in a University Program, preferably Computer Science
  • Familiarity with .NET, React, C#, MVC, Web Services, SQL Server, Javascript/Typescript, HTML, or CSS
  • Exposure to Microsoft Visual Studio (.NET or later versions)
  • Experience with source control tools (i.e git or TFS)
  • Exposure to agile development and processes

Responsibilities

  • Gaining exposure to C#, JavaScript, React, HTML, and AWS/Azure
  • Being mentored and having your work evaluated by the Team's Principal Engineer(s)
  • Participating in pair programming, requirements gathering, code reviews, and self-learning new technologies.

Yes, training and mentoring will be provided, and you will receive regular feedback on your performance.

What educational background is preferred for this internship?

Candidates currently enrolled in a University program, preferably in Computer Science, are preferred.

What programming languages and technologies will I be exposed to?

You will gain exposure to C#, JavaScript, React, HTML, and AWS/Azure.

Is prior experience in agile development required?

No, prior experience in agile development is not required, but it is considered a nice to have.

Will I have the opportunity for full-time employment after graduation?

Yes, depending on your performance, you may be given a full-time offer upon graduation.
