What is the duration of the internship?
The internship lasts for either 12 or 24 weeks, starting between March 31, 2025, and June 30, 2025, and ending on September 19, 2025.
What are the working hours for this internship?
The working hours are from 09:00 to 17:30.
Where is the internship located?
The internship is based in our new Soho Place office in Central London.
What type of candidates is G-Research looking for?
G-Research is looking for competent and practical software engineers with experience in object-oriented programming languages (such as C#, Java, or C++), who are studying for a degree in Computer Science or Computer Science with Mathematics (aiming for a 2:1 or above).
Will I receive any training during the internship?
Yes, successful candidates will receive an in-depth introduction to technology in finance, mentorship from an experienced engineer, and access to various training courses, including online learning for technical and soft skills.
What are some key responsibilities of the internship?
Key responsibilities include enhancing and supporting the existing trade technology platform, designing and implementing high-quality code, researching raw data, optimizing database and query performance, and maintaining existing infrastructure and data processing tools.
