Requirements

  • Must be a penultimate or final year student, or a recent university graduate of an engineering subject.
  • Be able to travel to our workshop in Glasgow or Edinburgh for the duration of the internship.
  • Ability and desire to learn quickly.
  • Proactive communication skills.
  • A love for working as part of a team.
  • Ability to continually prioritise and multi-task in a dynamic, creative, fast paced environment.
  • Initiative, self-discipline, and drive.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365.
  • Proficiency in C/C++.
  • Familiarity with DevOps (git/GitHub).
  • Nice to Haves:
  • Familiarity with Linux systems.
  • Command line usage and scripting experience.
  • Familiarity with the PX4 operating system.
  • Familiarity with the MAVLink protocol.
  • Proficiency in Python.
  • Familiarity with CMake and Make.
  • Knowledge of UAS Systems and Design.
  • Inquisitive and a desire for continued self-improvement and development of new skills.
  • Previous experience working within a start up.
