What qualifications do I need to volunteer?
Volunteers must be aged 16 or over and should not have unspent criminal convictions to be eligible for this position.
Is this a paid position?
No, this is an unpaid voluntary position within a friendly charity shop.
What tasks will I be responsible for as a Stockroom Volunteer?
Typical tasks include preparing donated items for sale, using a clothes steamer, attaching labels and tags, identifying unsaleable donations for recycling, and keeping the sort room organised and tidy.
How much time do I need to commit to this volunteer role?
You can volunteer for a few hours a week or just a couple of hours occasionally, making it easy and flexible.
