The internship is available in our Louisville, Kentucky and Ann Arbor, Michigan locations.
What are the educational requirements for the Structural Engineer Intern position?
Candidates must be enrolled in an ABET Accredited 4-year degree program focused on Civil/Structural Engineering or be a recent graduate from such a program.
Is prior experience required for the intern position?
No prior experience is required, but 0-2 years of relevant experience is preferred.
What software is required for the role of Structural Engineer Intern?
Proficiency in Microsoft Office software is required, and working knowledge of AutoCAD and/or Revit Structure is preferred. Familiarity with Mathcad and other engineering software is also important.
Will the intern have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects?
Yes, the intern will assist with projects across various construction types in multiple industry sectors, including Department of Defense, commercial, education, and municipal projects.
Is there an opportunity to receive training or mentorship during the internship?
Yes, interns will collaborate with and receive guidance from experienced structural engineering staff.
What skills are preferred for the Structural Engineer Intern position?
