Ability to access + navigate construction sites; may require ability to climb + descend ladders or crawl through openings.
Some travel may be required for this position: conducting site visits, working out of area, out of state or across the state as driven by project need.
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

Responsibilities

Develop an understanding of load path and simple statics within basic structures.
Work to create structural drawings from engineering designs to markups.
Work closely with an assigned mentor who provides hands on support and guidance while working through real projects.
Learn engineering software such as Revit and RAM Structural Systems for application on a variety of challenging projects.
Participate in site visits and in-house training sessions with other engineers.
