What educational background is required for this internship?
Candidates must be enrolled in a Geoscience Undergraduate Program at an accredited post-secondary institution or in a co-op or internship program. Candidates enrolled in Master’s or Ph.D. programs may also be considered.
Is prior experience in the oil and gas industry required?
No, prior experience is not required but having previous exposure to oil and gas would be considered an asset.
What skills are ideal for the candidate?
The ideal candidate should have strong communication and organizational abilities, problem-solving skills, and computer competencies in MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.

Yes, interns will receive mentorship and guidance while working alongside industry-leading professionals.
Are relocation benefits available for students moving for the work term?
Yes, students relocating for the internship may be eligible to receive a lump sum relocation payment to assist with expenses.
What types of tasks will interns be responsible for?
Interns will be involved in log interpretation, core description, mapping, and data analysis under the supervision of a Geologist.
