Requirements

  • Must be pursuing a Business or Sustainability degree or related discipline with a graduation date of May 2025 or later.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Ability to work independently with little supervision as well as in a team environment.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office products; including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong organizational skills, including experience in managing large amounts of data and files.
  • Ability to learn quickly and to think outside the box.
  • Must be able to work up to 20 hours per week during regular business hours; and up to 40 hours per week during summer and school breaks depending on the business needs.
  • Student Interns must maintain the required hours for full-time student status, good academic standing at their college or university, as defined by the college or university and the GPA required for graduation by their college or university.
  • Failure to maintain full-time status, good academic standing and/or the required GPA will result in Student Interns being deemed ineligible for participation in this program.
  • Student Interns are employed on a temporary basis and are generally not eligible for some benefits; including holiday pay.
  • Scheduling of work hours and assignments should be made taking into consideration that Student Interns are students first and employees second.

Responsibilities

  • - Provide day-to-day support for the Energy Programs portfolio.
  • - Provide administrative support to the Coordinators, Program Managers, and assist Supervisors and Managers with ensuring goals and milestones are met.
  • - Support Energy Program initiatives in other program areas.
  • - Collect and input data on various Energy program functions, including database management.
  • - Assist with month-end close accounting functions.
  • - Assist Program team by scheduling meetings, acting as a scribe as needed and provide coordination efforts for Energy programs.
  • - Organize company documents and working files related to energy program management and compliance efforts.
  • - Provide input for existing program modifications and assist with new program design.
  • - Travel to remote energy sites to assist in community events.
  • - Perform other administrative and compliance related assignments as requested.
