Requirements

  • Graduating with a four-year degree or graduate level degree by May 2026 with focused coursework in finance, accounting, economics and/or data science (preferred)
  • Individuals pursuing a career as a Financial Advisor and are participating in the CFP program in their education and will complete CFP exam prior to graduation.
  • Outstanding academic achievement (minimum 3.0 GPA)
  • Demonstrated leadership and teamwork from past work experience and/or extracurricular activities
  • Bring solid analytical, problem solving, communication and presentation skills
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint

Responsibilities

  • KIS interns will be partnered with a KIS PCA
  • Interns will be introduced to a variety of skills and competencies:
  • Client Discovery
  • Case studies
  • Financial Planning – data entry and analysis
  • Client meeting observations
  • Basic administrative work
  • Client relationship skills
  • Interpersonal communication
  • Retail partnerships
  • Interns will participate in a series of weekly trainings, including:
  • PCA Job Shadowing
  • Market and regional meetings
  • Case study interpretation & analysis – Regional Director of Financial Planning
  • Economic & Investment Trends – Chief Investment Office
