Responsibilities

  • Samsung Electronics America is seeking a skilled and experienced Logistics Coordinator, Inbound Logistics. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in developing a strategy and vision for the to-be organization. Responsible for inbound shipment managing to Samsung hub and direct customers. This position ensures the smooth transportation of product through the management of individual shipments in transit, the determination of shipping methods or warehousing methods, the management of delivery and documentation.
  • Under supervision of the manager, assist to manage a business process from factory to Samsung hub or direct customer under general instruction, making routine decisions on matter that have light to moderate impact on business operations.
  • Track and resolve shipping, warehouse, and carrier shipping errors, getting manager approval for exceptional or high-cost deviations.
  • Inbound daily tracking report validation and consolidation with overseas manufacturing to local distribution and warehousing facilities.
  • IOD, billing, and POD validation.
  • Diversions and RA maintenance/tracking.
  • Assist in carrier and 3PL management and performance analysis.
  • Provide analysis and report through data process and maintenance (forecast, routing, KPI, container and load management).
  • Coordinate special project transportation and ancillary services.
  • Work in a continuous improvement spirit across highly-matrix working environment.
  • Complete all other duties as assigned.
