Responsibilities

  • Support the SiriusXM Satellite Engineering and Operations Team which oversees the operation and management of the satellite fleet that includes seven satellites on-orbit and three satellites under various phases of assembly, integration, and testing.
  • Support progress meetings for the satellites that are under assembly, integration, and testing at the satellite manufacturer’s facility in Palo Alto, CA.
  • Participate in data reviews of satellite manufacturers testing of various satellite units and systems.
  • Work closely with senior engineers and other team members to brainstorm and develop solutions to technical problems.
  • Support satellite orbit raising operations and in-orbit testing for the next satellite launch that is planned in the early summertime.
  • Assist with organizing satellite historical documentation as well as new documentation as it is received.
