Requirements

  • A strong academic track record having studied, or currently studying towards an undergraduate degree in a STEM related field.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office software (i.e., Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • A quick learner with a strong work ethic, capable of working at pace and performing in an unstructured environment.
  • Willingness to travel often and work overtime as needed.
  • A demonstrated interest in Turnaround & Restructuring.
  • Strong quantitative, financial and analytical skills with a willingness to study towards a financial qualification should you subsequently join as a graduate.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • An understanding of valuation theory, methodologies and applications is desirable but not essential.
  • Prior investment banking or financial internship experience (M&A or an Industry team), Leverage Finance or Restructuring is desirable, but not essential.

  • - Support the Ankura Turnaround & Restructuring Business.
  • - Work alongside experienced professionals on live and interesting client projects.
  • - Provide strategic advice to companies’ boards and investors.
  • - Develop and implement bespoke plans to navigate financial or operational challenges.
  • - Maximise recoveries among stakeholders.
  • - Help clients manage complexity.
  • - Gain insight into the restructuring profession on a range of projects including corporate turnaround and financial restructuring.
  • - Raise commercial awareness and interpersonal skills.
  • - Develop new skills and qualities valuable for future career choices.
