What is the primary responsibility of the Superintendent/Field Intern or Co-op?
The primary responsibility is to support the superintendent and manage the construction and administrative activities associated with the field operations of a project, ensuring it is completed on schedule, within budget, and per project specifications.
What are the essential qualifications required for this position?
Candidates should have 0-2 years of experience in construction projects, preferably on jobs that are a minimum of 100,000 square feet. Additionally, skills in decision-making, organization, leadership, and computer proficiency are necessary.
Will I be required to wear personal protective equipment on the job?
Yes, appropriate personal protective equipment is required when working outside of the office trailer or existing structure, in accordance with the company's safety policies and weather conditions.
What types of tasks will I assist with on a daily basis?
Daily tasks may include documentation control, coordination of subcontractors, safety management, taking notes during meetings, assisting the superintendent, and maintaining organization and cleanliness of the job-site trailer.
