Requirements

  • Current High School graduate or enrolled as a sophomore, junior, senior, or recent graduate at an accredited two-year or four-year college or university.
  • Excellent manual dexterity.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Available for 12 weeks during the summer.
  • Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
  • Pursuit of a Bachelor’s or Associate’s Degree in Engineering, Animal Science or a related field.

Responsibilities

  • - Work within a team to process, package, and ensure quality control of bovine semen.
  • - Maintain great attention to detail in a cold environment for extended periods of time.
  • - Aid in achieving current and forecasted production goals.
  • - Contribute both individually and as a team member to ensure responsibilities are completed within production timelines.
  • - Assist in receiving, warehousing, and shipment of products.
  • - Rotate through production barns to understand the full process from beginning to end.
  • - Uphold the Genus core values, mission and vision.
  • - Position may require work responsibilities outside of normal business hours.
  • - Performs other projects and responsibilities as assigned.
