Responsibilities

  • Interns are placed under the leadership of a Supply Chain Manager and are invited to learn about Oceaneering`s products, processes, operations, and culture through working alongside professionals on a variety of projects and are exposed to Oceaneering`s cutting-edge product lines and their real-world application.
  • Complete side by side comparison of the performance of our purchasing process.
  • Assist the Supply Chain Manager(s) in evaluating new supplier qualifications in delivery, quality and cost.
  • Assist with negotiation preparation and negotiation strategies.
  • Identify cost savings with current supply case or analyze potential for new supplier relationships.
  • Support the Supply Chain Managers in sourcing activities, such as RFI's (Request for Information), and RFQ's (Request for Quotes).
