Yes, the compensation for the internship ranges from $15 to $26 per hour, depending on qualifications.
What qualifications do I need to apply?
You should be pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related program at an ABET-accredited University, with previous coursework in Traffic Planning or Transportation preferred.
Are there opportunities for future employment after the internship?
Yes, there is potential for full-time, permanent offers to students approaching graduation, with more than 50% of interns receiving such offers.
Will I receive training during the internship?
Yes, the internship program includes educational opportunities, networking chances, and various trainings to help build transferrable skills.
Do I need prior internship experience to apply?
Prior internship experience is preferred but not required.
What software skills are expected for this position?
A basic understanding of AutoCAD and/or MicroStation is preferred, along with strong computer literacy including MS Office.
