Responsibilities

  • Assist technical staff with day-to-day design tasks for various types of transportation and traffic projects.
  • Traffic analysis responsibilities including data collection, crash analysis, and intersection & roadway capacity analysis utilizing various software, under the supervision of junior and senior level engineers.
  • Traffic reporting duties including preparation of traffic impact studies as assigned by your management team.
  • CAD work for conceptual design plans from a traffic planning & preliminary design.
  • Construct cost estimating responsibilities for detailed design plans.
  • Opportunity to advance to higher level responsibility depending upon performance throughout the summer.
  • Collaboration with other interns in to understand various disciplines and aspects of Colliers Engineering & Design.
  • Participation in planning and technical report documentation.
