Requirements

  • Candidates must be enrolled in a university program pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering, Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field with the intent to continue after the internship, unless graduating.
  • Candidates must have completed two years of study in their program.
  • Valid U.S. Driver’s License required to visit project sites, clients, and other AECOM offices.
  • As a condition of employment, selected candidate must pass a Motor Vehicle Records review.
  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong organizational, technical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment.

  • Performs a variety of assignments designed to develop professional work knowledge and abilities, requiring application of standard techniques, procedures, and criteria in carrying out tasks.
  • Performs entry level work related to road and utility construction management and inspection.
  • Follows instructions to accomplish task assigned by senior staff.
