Responsibilities

  • The intern will support the various departments of the Urban Catalog team. These include A&R, Marketing, Audience Growth, and Commerce. This person will get first hand experience on what it takes put out a vinyl reissue from conception.
  • Updating various charts: recording studios, mixing/mastering engineer, beat submissions, new artist submissions, producers etc.
  • Helping coordinators with checking studio availability, getting rates from BCD travel and receipts from restaurants etc.
  • Listening to beats, organizing into folders and updating the beatpack submissions chart.
  • Finding new artists, creating a chart and updating with growth in listeners, followers, new releases etc.
  • Work with the physical team to alleviate some of the workload that needs more attention and organization. Participate in team meetings and planning. Keeping on task for certain physical releases to supplement the rollout plans. Work alongside the team to set goals and objectives for certain projects. Collaborate on potential catalog focuses for 2025 doing data (streaming and revenue) deep dives.
