Requirements

  • Actively pursuing a degree from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas with the status of Junior or Senior OR a graduate within the last two years.
  • GPA of at least 3.0.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft.
  • Ability to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays.
  • Ability to effectively communicate in English.
  • Polished appearance and demeanor.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain full knowledge and understanding of company and department rules and regulations, policies and procedures.
  • Willingness to learn about all aspects of Food & Beverage operations.
  • Preferred:
  • Previous experience working in a large, luxury resort setting.
  • Minimum Education and Experience:
  • At least 21 years of age.

  • Proof of eligibility to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Understand F&B operations and learn basic management skills by shadowing salary and hourly positions.
  • Interact with Team Members professionally and provide excellent guest service at all times.
  • Rotate to Food & Beverage venues, as necessary.
  • Adhere to all sanitation procedures, health code regulations, and alcohol service protocols.
  • Participate in divisional projects, trainings, tasks, and assignments.
  • Anticipate the guests' needs and respond appropriately with a sense of urgency.
  • Abide by all Resorts World core values and divisional and property policies and procedures.
  • Assist with restaurant opening and closing responsibilities when needed.
  • Understand how to increase restaurant revenue through marketing strategies, networking, and team member engagement.
  • Learn how to maintain inventory levels for food, supplies, and equipment, and audit monthly profit and loss statements.
  • Obtain and maintain position-specific licensing.
  • Use personal device/cellular phone for job related operational tasks, job duties, review of company documents, etc.
  • Other duties as assigned.
