What is the location of the internship?
The internship is offered in a hybrid work format.
What educational background is required for this position?
Candidates should be currently pursuing a Master’s or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field from an accredited school in Canada.
What technologies will I work with during the internship?
You will assist in designing and implementing web GUI features using React and Redux, and gain exposure to cutting-edge network technologies in the field of Software-Defined Networking (SDN).
What programming skills are necessary for this role?
Proficiency in JavaScript, React, HTML5, and CSS3 is required. Experience in application state management, particularly with Redux, is also necessary.
Are there additional skills that would be beneficial for this position?
Yes, familiarity with React component libraries (like ag-grid, formik, and styled-components), experience with package managers (like npm), a strong understanding of REST API, and experience with Git would be advantageous.
What kind of work environment can I expect?
You will work in a team-based Agile environment, collaborating with Developers, Testers, and Product Management to refine requirements, develop, and test products.
